Business Development Manager

We are looking for a relentless, results-obsessed Business Development Manager to drive our growth by identifying, pursuing, and closing high-value deals with SMEs and startups across India.
Your Role & Responsibilities
- Own the entire sales funnel from lead generation to deal closure. You are responsible for revenue, period.
- Build and maintain a robust pipeline of qualified opportunities through strategic prospecting, networking, and relationship building.
- Conduct deep discovery calls to understand a potential client's business, their pain points, and their growth objectives. You must go beyond surface-level questions.
- Craft and deliver powerful, persuasive sales presentations and proposals that articulate our value proposition and directly address client needs.
- Master the art of negotiation, ensuring deals are closed at a price that reflects the value we deliver, while protecting our margins.
- Consistently meet and exceed your monthly and quarterly sales targets. This is a performance-driven role.
- Represent PragatiPath at industry events with professionalism and a clear goal of building our brand and your network.
Who We Are Looking For
- A minimum of 3-5 years of proven, quota-carrying B2B sales experience in IT services, SaaS, or a digital agency. You must have a track record of success.
- A "hunter" mentality. You are a self-starter who is hungry for success and doesn't wait for leads to be handed to you.
- Exceptional command of English and Hindi (verbal and written). You can build rapport with a CEO in Mumbai and a small business owner in Jaipur with equal ease.
- Strong business acumen and the ability to understand and discuss business models, revenue streams, and growth challenges.
- You must be a master of the sales process, from qualification and discovery to objection handling and closing.
- An existing network of contacts in the Indian SME and startup ecosystem is a huge plus.
